Across the Democratic Republic of the Congo and many parts of Africa, millions of consumers face the same persistent challenge: they see the products they want online — from fashion and electronics to home goods and essentials — but encounter barriers that make buying them difficult or impossible.
According to industry data, e-commerce penetration in Sub-Saharan Africa remains lower than in developed regions, largely due to limited access to international payment methods, inconsistent shipping options, and fragmented logistics networks. Many global retailers either do not accept payment methods widely used locally, or they do not ship directly to many African countries at all
ShopLinker was created to solve this problem — not with technology that isolates, but with a
human-centered approach that bridges the gap between aspiration and access. We help customers
in the DRC and other parts of Africa shop from their favorite South African and international stores
by handling the entire purchase, payment facilitation, and logistics process on their behalf.
